Esmee Cottage Dress

Ok, not the best picture in the world, but my model will not cooperate lately and stand still for a shot.  I love this dress.  It's going to be Charlotte's Valentine's dress but I wanted something she could still wear after the holiday.  I will post Ruby's outfit when I'm finished.  This is the Esmee Cottage dress by Amelie and Henri http://www.amelieandhenri.com/#!products/c1se  I just think the pattern is so cute.  My first time doing pleats, and may I say not my favorite.  I owe a big THANKS to my friend, Ina, who helped me hold and press with my arms not working so well from surgery.  I got all the fabric from Hobby Lobby.

Dinosaur Birthday

Here are some pictures form Charlotte's party.  We didn't go crazy this year since I'm still recovering from surgery but I got most of the ideas from pinterest.

Dinosaur Birthday Banner

The font is Minnie Mouse I used off SCAL.  I actually pulled out my cricut and used the Dino Play cricut lite cartridge for the dinosaurs.

Dinosaur Birthday Shirt

Here is Charlotte's shirt I embroidered for her dinosaur birthday party.  It says I am 2 with her name below.  I got the design from etsy.

Dinosaur Skirt

This year for her Birthday, Charlotte's theme is dinosaurs.  I made this skirt for her to wear to her party.  I don't have a pattern for this I just through it together.

Swaddle Blanket

I found this pattern on pinterest for a swaddle blanket.  http://mammacandoit.blogspot.pt/2013/02/swaddling-blanket-pattern-finally.html?spref=fb&m=1 It was pretty easy to make and I have a whole bolt of this fabric laying around so I thought I would burn through it and make Lucas a few of these.  He's not happy with me snapping the flash in his face :)  But he's snug as a bug!

Dino Mask

I made this cute dino mask for Charlotte for her birthday.  I found it at http://sweetpeasplace.com/.  There are some really cute designs on her site.  Charlotte just loves the mask!

Handmade baskets

I found this tutorial on pinterest http://seaside-stitches.blogspot.ca/2013/03/fabric-box-tutorial.html  I changed the size to a 20x20 which made the finished size a 9x9.  I plan to reorganize my craft room and use these baskets.  I added a paper tag to the front so I can label the basket.

Ninja Turtle Stuffie

I made this really cute little guy in the hoop (ITH) on my embroidery machine.  I got the file from www.OFNAHSHOP.com  I just love her stuff.  This is my first stuffie made ITH.  It was super easy, made with a 5x7 hoop.
