My Scrapchick Design Team Tryouts

After taking the summer off to sew, I've been itching to scrap.  I'm super excited to see that My Scrapchick is looking for design team members.  I just love her stuff!  I really love the Bella & Baxtor trick or treaters that she has.  If you scroll through my blog, you will see this is not the first project I've done with them and it won't be the last.  So let's get to the project info.  Here are all the names of the sets I used from www.myscrapchick.com.
The house is  from the birdhouse trio and the windows, door and steps are from the school house trio.  The pumpkin, dinosaur, cat, and tree are from the Bella & Baxtor trick or treaters set, the leaves are the single set called autumn leaves trio and the witch is from the newest set (love them!) called three good little witches.  The spider web on the books is from an older set called trick or treat and the fence is from the my garden set. I made a 12x12 platform for it to sit on and added moss for grass. I had so much fun making this project.  I like 3d projects.  I wouldn't say that's my style, not quite sure I have a style.  Whatever pops in my head is what I make from 3d to layouts to books to decorations for parties.  I also like other crafts and sometimes mix sewing and crochet with scrap.

Superhero Dress

I made this dress from an old pattern I have that's 12 years old.  I love the pattern.  If you scroll through my blog, you will notice I've used it many times.  I used superhero fabric.  It's hard to find any superhero stuff for girls unless it's Wonder woman.  So I made Charlotte this super cute dress.  I just love the colors of the fabric and how the dress pattern is so girly.

Retro Skirts

I found this pattern off of Pinterest also.  I am going to add a small tutu under it to make it fluff out but you can wear it flat also.  They were SO easy to make and will work for a girl of any size.  Here's where to find the directions: http://www.sewinginnomansland.com/2011/12/15/third-skirt-of-christmas-simple-simon-co/

Minnie Mouse Peasant Dresses

I found the pattern for this peasant dress here:  http://5berriessewingpatterns.com/product/olivia-sewing-pattern/  I love all the cute patterns on this site.  They are very easy to sew and turn out nicely.  I got the Minnie embroidery image from etsy.  I just love this pattern, I will make more for sure!

Mod Peasant Dresses

I found this pattern from Pinterest.  http://www.scatteredthoughtsofacraftymom.com/2012/11/howtomakeapeasantdress.html

Pillowcase outfits

I made a few different outfits using a "pillowcase" pattern.  I got the information off of Pinterest and then kind of added to it.  Some are dresses and some are 2 piece shorts outfits.

Strawberry Shortcake Dress

My Niece is crazy about Strawberry Shortcake.  So I made all 3 girls a dress.  I got the embroidery image from etsy.
