Diaper Bag from Pinterest!

So I am totally addicted to Pinterest!  Well, I figure it's not worth spending countless hours pinning stuff if I don't actually do something from it.  I needed a new diaper bag so I thought this was a good time to use a pattern I found here.  I actually made two.  The first one was a little small so I changed the size and made it bigger.  I put 3 pockets across the front for bottles and two across the back and also two inside.  I also tried out my new sewing & embroidery machine (brother innov-is 1500D).  I bought the font on Etsy and used PE Design 8 software to create Charlotte's name and resize it.

Canvas Corp & Imaginisce Blog Hop

I was asked to make an item for the Canvas Corp & Imaginisce blog hop.  I created this purse!  It's my own design.  I figured it's time to stop buying tutorials and make something from scratch.  So here's my purse.  I used the Sole Sisters line from Imaginisce and added in some Canvas Corp paper.  I'd been waiting for the right project to come along to use their cow print.  I just love it!  I also used beads and wire to create the handle.

Creative Women Entry -June

For my June entry to the design team at SSD I used all Canvas Corp products:  Blue jean 12x12 for top, apron with red glimmer mist, flower accented with 4th of July paper and a star.

Baby's First Hand Made Dress

I love this pattern.  It's close to my heart.  I used this pattern over 10 years ago to make Kayla's first hand made dress.  I felt it fitting to do the same for Charlotte and start a new tradition.

Easter Bunny Topiary

WoooooHoooo!  I actually got a project done in the same month the holiday was in!  This topiary is made out of a medium foam ball and a medium foam egg.  I covered it with OVER 500 little flowers cut from my cricut!  I used the following carts: George & Basic: Ears, eyes and nose, Accent Essentials: flowers, Gypsy font: comma (for arms), Sesame Street font.  The "Easter" paper and carrot are from Canvas Corp.

Book of Shadows

I made this book over the weekend also.  I saw it on www.paperphenomenon.blogspot.com.

Haunted House

I went to a local retreat put on by www.croppintrain.blogspot.com for the weekend.  It was a blast!  I can't wait to go again in November!  A big THANKS! to all the ladies that work so hard to put these retreats on.  I worked on this house with my friend Renee over at www.chasing-bees.blogsot.com (I'm calling you out Renee!  Now post your house so everyone can see how awesome it is!)  We got the idea from www.paperphenomenon.blogspot.com.  I've been planning on making this house since before Halloween, I have finally gotten around to it.  I'm looking forward to making more projects with Renee, I had an awesome time!  We hope to do a Santa's Workshop in November.  I used cuttin up, chic and scary and happy hauntings, I think.
