I made this to enter in the cricut magazine contest. You had to use the new pop up neighborhood cart. I used pop up neighborhood (pet shop, tree, fence, grass, sun and clouds), paper pups (dogs, food, house bowls, bone), cuttin' up font, april showers (cages), better together imagine for little girl and dog in window, paper print on the shop and dog house, best friends imagine for the cloud paper. I used chipboard and duct tape to assemble the base. I also glued magnet sheets to the board and cut all the play set items out in magnet. I'm sure when my daughter plays with it she will ask for more items for the dogs to play with. I hope she likes the idea that the dogs are in the cages in the pet shop and you can take them out to let them play in the yard. I made the straps out of duct tape also so she could carry it like a purse. I flocked both of the dogs so they would be fuzzy.
I made this piece to go inside to help it stand up. I glued it on one side and put magnets on the other so you could pop it closed.
After recently losing our precious 14 yr old Cocker Spaniel, Ebby to lymphoma, I hope this set gives Kayla something to remember her by. I hope she thinks of all the happy times we spent with her and not about her being sick. Our home is not the same without our sweet girl.

Watermelon Book
I made this book for the Cricut Circle monthly contest. I made this book from images on my gypsy and bound it with my cinch. I used shiny paper (came from my stash, no clue where I got it) and glossy accents on the seeds and ants to make it blend with the paper. The words on cover are sans serif. The ants came from nate's abc's. The seeds are from splish splash. BBQ letters are from block party. The pages and tags are from gypsy wanderings. I welded a few tags from gypsy wanderings to the base page to create the front pocket on some of the pages. As soon as I have time to tweak it and figure out how to post it, I will add the gypsy file for people to use :)

Happy Woof Day!
Here is my entry for the Cricut Circle magazine challenge. I made it out of a manila file folder and used Teresa Collins Posh and Timeless paper, chipboard stickers and Timeless trims. I used vinyl for the letters so it would be a little shiny with the gypsy font. The tags are from tags, bags boxes and more. I used cuttlebug embossing folders: once upon a princess (butterflies) and script texture on the black and white tags. Hopefully a doggy party qualifies as an "elegant celebration"! I love this book because you can stand it up to display it. I left journal spots in the middle on the back of the book so my Aunt can write whatever she'd like. I also left the tags empty on the back so she could add pics or something else if she wanted.

Downtown Bentonville Bike Parade
Every year Downtown Bentonville puts on a kid's bike parade for the 4th of July. This year Kayla asked me to cricut some stuff to decorate her bike with. Here are some of the pics at the parade. I made the cuts small enough that she could then use them on a page with the pics.

National Scrapbooking Weekend
My friend over at http://www.stellapearlcrafts.blogspot.com/ and I went to a National Scrapbooking Day event Signed, Sealed and Delivered put on last weekend. They had a "Survivor" theme. Here are some pics from the event.
We made these Cricut shirts and matching flip flops to wear to the crop. The shirt is heat bond type vinyl from H&H sign supply. I used the Cricut Everyday cart for the circle head. The shoes are just flip flops tied with strips of bandannas cut with pinking shears so they don't fray.
This is a layout we got in a kit. The first pic is the directions and I tweaked it a little and changed the sun, added the girl and the bucket. I irocked the sun's eyes and the gems in the sand/bucket. Bucket and girl were from H2O. I think the sun and trees are from Life's a beach. Don't you just LOVE the hammock? Those ladies at SSD are awesome!

We won first place for the tribe sign! Thanks to Missie K for the awesome name and Stella for a ton of hard work!
I think we got second place for our layout. Each person got a bag of goodies and had to make a layout with it.
Here are some of the prizes/goodies we got there!
Here is my other layout I finished! I was happy about the way this one turned out. The sun, car, animals and clouds are from Create a critter. I welded shapes together for the engine from George and basic shapes and then welded and thinned out the tracks from one of the paper doll carts. I made everything in a chipboard base first, then covered it with my paper. I used the peachy keen face stamps for the sun and the swirls cuttlebug fold for the clouds. I also irocked it and used buttons. I entered this in the cricut circle blog tic tac toe contest. I used the top row: a sun, a welded image from my gypsy and buttons ( I also threw in a cuttlebug embossed item too!).

Teacher's Gift Card
Today you were supposed to give your teacher supplies. We decided to give them money so they could purchase the things they need instead of bringing something they don't want. I used the playtime cart on my imagine with the rgb codes to make the little girl look like she does on the cart. I also used peachy keen PK-640 Princess face assortment for her face. If you notice, I couldn't figure out how to hide the eyes so they wouldn't cut out. I couldn't get my gypsy to work with my imagine either! It kept asking me to plug in my gypsy and it was not reading it! So I designed it on the gypsy and had to start all over and make it on the imagine screen. I am gonna try to update the imagine again and see if that helps. Every time I have updated it I've had problems with it saying I'm not plugged in to the computer. So now I'm a little worried something may be wrong with it. When I have time, I will have to dig around on the message boards and see if I can fix it. I would be heartbroken if something is wrong.

Teacher's Gifts
This week is Teacher appreciation week at Kayla's school. Each day this week you bring your Teachers a specific item. Monday is flowers so we decided to be crafty and give them flowers that are functional! The flowers are silk flowers with the stems wrapped to a pen with floral tape. Cuttin' Up for the font and Cricut Sampler for the bee.

Cricut Tool Caddy
I made this for the monthly contest for the Cricut Circle Blog. You had to recycle something. So here I used 2 plastic tubs and glued the bases together so the caddy would be tall but not too deep. I used old paper out of my scraps bucket I keep around and I used a Girl Scout Cookie (Samoa) box as the chipboard on the back of the cricut head to make it a little more sturdy. I also used my cuttlebug cricut circle folder to emboss the cricut heads. I was planning on buying something to put my tools in but I think this worked out so much better and it was free :)
Birthday Banner
Here is part of the banner I made to match the invitations and favor boxes a few post below. I used george and basic shapes and the cuttin' up font.

A new home for my Imagine!
Finally! My Imagine has not had a home since I bought it back in October. It has been moved from one place to another. I finally after buying 2 other pieces of furniture that didn't work decided to go with this. I also had my wonderful Husband put in copper cable to hang my carts on to save space. I just used ziploc bags and clip it up clips. I have some older posts with before pics of the room. I plan to give the whole room an overhaul soon. I just got some heat n bond vinyl and I'm gonna try to make cricut curtains.
Mrs. Jennings Bday Gift
I made this basket up for Kayla's Teacher. Her Birthday is today and since it's close to Easter I thought this might be fun. After all, how often is it as adults, do we get to enjoy an Easter basket? The carrots were welded from george and basic shapes and tags, bags, boxes and more, gypsy font, and cricut sampler for the apples.
